My Favorite Lipsticks

I wanted to share a couple of new favorite lipsticks with y'all and a couple of old favorites as well. And P.S. these would make great stocking stuffers.

These are new to me and I love them! They're NYX Butter Gloss.

Obviously I took these pics in the fall. Ha!

Left to Right: Vanilla Cream Pie, Angel Food Cake and Crème Brulee. Don't you love the names?

I got them at my local grocery store for $4.99.

They're a gloss, but they're not really sticky like some glosses. I was very impressed with their staying power too. They're neutrals with a hint of color.

Here's some individual pics up close...

Next up, I have to talk about my all time favorite neutral lipstick. It's "Fleshtone" by Revlon...

Sadly, it was discontinued awhile back. BUT...I found a really good replacement. It's almost identical to Fleshtone...

The old Revlon Fleshtone on the left and my new replacement "Brazilian Tan" on the right. Pretty close, huh? And don't even ask me how long I've been holding on to that discontinued Fleshtone. I've been keeping it around, trying to color match it for years. :)

Here they are side by side...

So if you're a fan of the discontinued Fleshtone, pick up some Brazilian Tan and you'll be amazed at the similarity. :)

Here are a few of my other favorites...

Blushing Nude, Rose Velvet and Demure. These are all a nice neutral with a little more color. I'm wearing Rose Velvet in my blog pic over there on the right. I love that color! You'll notice all these are from the Revlon Super Lustrous "Crème" line. I find that the Crème ones stay on a lot longer than the "sheer" or "pearl." My local grocery store has these for $4.99 as well.

Oh, one more thing...I use the same lipliner for all my lipstick colors. Don't ask me how it works with all colors, it just does. It's "Brandy Wine 666" by Wet n Wild...

As I've said before, if the "666" bothers you, just turn it upside down and say it's 999. :)

It'll set you back a whopping .99¢ at the grocery store. I'm a total low maintenance grocery store make up girl, if you haven't already noticed. :) If I can't buy it while grocery shopping, I'm probably not going to use it.

Do you have a favorite lipstick brand/color?

Thanks for stopping by and y'all have a nice day!

My all time favorite is "Twig" by Avon.... I don't use much, so it lasts me forever.
I will have to go and look for a couple of yours!
