A Very Easy Crock Pot Potato Soup Recipe

I've seen different versions of this recipe all over the internet. I kind of tweaked it a bit to suit us. I love this because everyone in the family will eat it. :)

crock pot potato soup
Here's what you'll need:

6 Cups frozen shredded hash browns
3/4 Cup onion, chopped
2 Cups Chicken broth. (I just use one 14 oz. can)
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can cream of mushroom soup
2 Cups milk
1 Cup water
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
Shredded cheese and bacon bits for toppings

You just separate the hash browns into a crock pot. Add chopped onion. Combine broth, soups, milk, salt and pepper and pour into crock pot. Add one cup water. Stir well and cook on low 6 hours or on high 4 hours. Top with cheese and bacon. Enjoy!

Here's the finished product. Yum!

  4. Oh my! I love homemade potato soup and haven't had it in years! I love the crockpot version. I beleive I'm going to give this recipe a try. Oh and btw, I tried the mascara you recommended and love it! Just used it for the first time yesterday. I like how the brush is slim. Thanks for the suggestion. Still need to try the Suave frizz cream. Now that the humidity is around the corner, it will be a good test for it.

    1. I'm so glad you all liked it! What's funny is that this is one of my most popular posts, yet you're the first one to take the time to come back and let me know you actually made it, so thank you for that! It's a great recipe for those times you want to cheat a little and not make the "real" thing. :)
