One Of My Favorite Purchases

Okay, so I thought I'd share one of my favorite purchases with y'all today. I actually got three emails last week asking where I bought this, so I decided to do a whole post about it. At the bottom of the post I'll put a direct link to this product if you'd like to buy it. (I've had mine for a long time, so the new version is a tad different, but basically the same idea.) And no, I'm not getting paid for this, it's just something I've enjoyed through the years. :)

So, here it's my welcome sign with all these attachments!

Isn't it cute? I bought it at Lillian Vernon about 20 years ago.

The welcome sign can be used by itself or you can add one of the above attachments.

Like I said, I bought mine a long time ago, so the newer version is a bit different. It still has the welcome sign and some attachments, but they are more modern looking. :)

Mine are starting to look more "vintage" now. :) Maybe that means I'm vintage...hmm...

Here are some close ups of the individual ones. Love these for Christmas time.

After a long, hot summer, I'm usually itching to get these out in the Fall.

These always work well for the Summer.

I do have to say that I've never used the bird one below. I don't know why, but it's never graced the front porch. :) I do like the basket of flowers for Spring though.

And of course we have the jack-o-lantern for Halloween and the bunny for Easter. :)

I have a couple of options for the fourth of July and Memorial Day.

These are my favorites. Hearts for Valentine's Day, a birthday cake for all the birthdays we celebrate, and a leprechaun hat with some shamrocks for St. Patrick's Day.

Each sign has these little hooks at the top so you can hang it from the welcome sign.

If there's not an upcoming holiday, I usually leave it empty like this...

But as soon as a holiday is approaching, I pull out the appropriate sign, like this flag for the fourth of July.

You can click HERE for a direct link to this particular item on the Lillian Vernon website. Like I said, the new one is a bit different from mine, but still just as cute, if not cuter. :) You can now even personalize it with your last name.

Well, that's it for now. Do y'all have a favorite purchase you've made over the years? Do tell! Y'all have a great day!

  1. Thanks so much for sharing Lisa! I really like yours much better than the newer version! But I'm really tempted to order it. Thanks again!

    1. You're very welcome, Carolyn! I've really enjoyed that little sign over the years and always look forward to putting out a new attachment each season. :)

  2. Gosh, I forgot all about Lillian Vernon! I used to receive their catalogs in the mail and enjoy flipping through them. I even ordered some things from them many years ago. I didn't even know they were still around. That sign is so cute. I like how you can change it up for the holidays so easily.

  3. This is so cute! I used to order from Lillian Vernon all the time. I think you can find something like this on Etsy.

  5. Cute! I've ordered from LV eons ago...perhaps I should take another look. :)

  6. This is cute, i have lots of favorite, but one that comes to mind right now are all my mirrors!
