A Few Touches of Fall

I couldn't stand it any longer and HAD to pull out just a few Fall decor items...

I brought out my orange pillow covers along with my cable knit pillows. Do you spy the two pumpkins on the shelves?

I love this little wheelbarrow I got at Joann's. I should bring it out more often.

I replaced the hydrangeas with lots of burlap and cream pumpkins in this basket in the foyer. Now we just need the weather to cooperate and make it feel more like Fall outside. :)

I'm thinking of skipping all the jack-o-lanterns and Halloween-ish stuff this year and just leaving my Fall stuff up until Thanksgiving. Usually I put up some Fall things, then I transition to more of a Halloween vibe, then I move on to Thanksgiving.  Hmm...I'll have to think about it.

Here's a quick and totally unrelated tip for you. Do you have a Sonic Drive-In near you? If you sign up for their text alerts, they'll periodically send you a text with an unadvertised special such as half priced burgers, dollar Sonic dogs, etc.

These texts have come in handy many times for me right when I was wondering what to do for dinner. I got a text the other day about their half priced burgers, so I picked up four burgers and two large tots for my hungry crew for about $12! I can't even make homemade burgers and tots for that.

  5. You know I always love seeing your seasonal decor! That wheel barrel is absolutely awesome!!
I started my fall decor too, mostly using last year's things. I really need to get more fall decor goodies soon so I can slowly accumulate a fall stash lol.
Anywho...the weather here needs to cooperate too. We're in the 100's all week..ugh! I just want it to be cold enough to enjoy some Pumpking Spice latte :)

    1. Thanks, Kim! I'm slowly pulling out a few things here and there, but it's still almost 100 degrees outside, so I'll probably hold off on the majority of things until October. :) It's always so much fun to peek inside the fall boxes and see all the pretties!

  8. I am so ready for it to actually FEEL like fall. It's been so hot and humid here. Your fall touches are pretty. That is good to know about Sonic... thanks for the tip! Have a good weekend!

  9. I love your Fall touches! I prefer to decorate in a Fall theme instead of Halloween too now that my kids are older. Too bad we don't have a Sonic near me anymore. We used to but it closed.

  10. I adore your Fall touches....really loving that lush pompom throw, but our little fur baby would never leave those balls alone! The little wheel barrow is so cute, and yes, you should bring that out more often! I like to put out a few Halloween things, so The Man got those things down for me when he got the rest of the Fall decor. I had him stash the box in the guest room closet, so I can get to it when I want to.

  12. I like the way you think, Lisa! Having the Fall/Thanksgiving decor and not doing a real orange/black Halloween this year. We can always add more subtle touches of Halloween, right? Maybe vintage? I think you've convinced me! :) Love all your decor - especially the burlap and cream pumpkins in the basket. So nice!

  13. These are perfect, subtle fall touches for now and all so cute. I really love the little burlap pumpkins, do you remember where you found those? I love the wagon, too...I bet you could find something to display in it seasonally.

We do have a Sonic---thanks for the tip off!

  14. Your fall touches look so pretty ~ as usual. I'm so ready for cooler temps but the fall decor has not happened here yet. :) We did have such a lovely day here yesterday ~ low 80's and 66 overnight. Quite a change, huh? Did you make the sweater pillows? I love them but have never made one.

Yes, I love Sonic! I've used the text deal and there are some great savings. Hope you have a wonderful week my friend!
