Do y'all remember Samantha from Bewitched calling Dr. Bombay? Love that show! Anyway, I have a bombe chest in my living room, and every time I look at it I think about that show. :)
I bought the bombe chest about 15 years ago from the J.C. Penney catalog. It's where I keep my candle collection.

I think I only paid about $100 for it and I still love it. :)

Here it is with the doors opened up. |
|
On the right side, I keep all my scented wax cubes. |
|
The middle cabinet stores lots of things. I keep a few birthday decorations in here too. Those "cupcakes" actually have candles in them. |
|
The left side of the cabinet has my Suzzette's candles and Yankee candles. |
|
Apparently I really like Yankee's Buttercream and Vanilla Cupcake candles. LOL! |

That candle holder with the fall leaves was a steal for just a few dollars at Kohl's a few years ago. I should probably bring it back out now that it's getting closer to fall. :) I actually have a candle with fall leaves carved into it that I usually put in it too. Can't wait for cooler weather!
That's it for the bombe chest. Hope y'all have a fantastic day!

Very pretty chest, Lisa! It's nice to have a special place to stash candles when you live in a climate that prevents them being stored in the garage. I'm glad I'm not the only one who likes those scented wax cubes. I think I buy a box every time I go to Walmart!
ReplyDeleteThat's a nice chest. It makes the perfect place to store your candles! I have a candle collection stored like that too. You've got a lot of good ones. I love the Yankee Christmas scented candles.
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous piece of furniture! Love, love your candle collection! I am addicted also! LOL
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty! I bet it smells so good inside!! :)
