Hello! I thought I'd share a few random pics from my phone today.
I made this cake the other day...
Believe it or not, there really is a cake under all that icing! Lol! I always make a double batch of icing when I make a bundt cake. :)
Below is the mix I used in case you want to make it yourself. It was really good!
It's hard to tell in this pic, but there's a tunnel of fudge in the middle.
The lighting was really weird outside the other day and I thought these roses looked pretty in it. These are just some knockouts in my backyard.
A couple more backyard pics...
I could literally sit under this bald cypress tree next to the bridge and read a book and sip sweet tea all day long!
Aren't these cute? I picked them up at Dollar Tree. They really seem to have a bigger/better selection of party goods lately.
Don't y'all love World Market? We went there this weekend and picked up some of this rice paper candy for the boys. They ask for it every time we go to WM. They love how they get to eat the paper. Ha!
And on a totally random note...this is a pic I put on instagram of all the shark's teeth I found the last time I went to the beach. Can you believe it?! I'm the only one in my family with this "talent." ;)
You can follow me on Instagram at "texasdecor." I hope y'all are having a great day!

Oh my grandson would love to go on the beach with you. He loves all that kind of stuff. It must be a gift!!
ReplyDeleteOh my...I am craving a hefty piece of chocolate cake now :-) i love all your randome pics. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI am continuing to pray for your nephew. Hope he is improving.
Happy Wednesday!

Thank you, Sherri! That cake was so good! It didn't last very long around here. ;) You are so very sweet to continue to pray for Ben...thank you!! He's doing much better and even attended school ALL week last week! The prayers are definitely working! :)
DeleteI love those random posts. My son is the "shark-toother" in this family. That and the 4 leaf clover finder. Your backyard is just gorgeous. I can see why you would want to sit there and read and drink tea all day! xo Diana
ReplyDeleteThat cake looks ultra-yummy Lisa and in my state right now, I would eat it all! LOL! Love your garden pics as always, wish I had more flowers in mine now. I have to try those rice paper ones, your making me really curious!
ReplyDeleteGosh that cake looks divine! I may have to buy that and give it a try. Does it come with the icing mix or did you do that separately? I've never heard of rice paper before. What does it taste like? Your yard looks so pretty. Wish our grass looked as good as yours. It's still greening up.
ReplyDeleteI would love to sit out there and visit, drink tea and have some of that cake! I wondered about that mix so glad you told us about it. Your back yard is just beautiful! Love those party supplies...I haven't seen them but will make it a point to visit $ Tree. I guess you're the first person I've "met" that collects shark teeth ~ :)
