Waffles, Kolaches and Cats

Just a few quick things to share with you today.

Have y'all tried these?

My goodness, they're good! So fluffy and Madagascar Vanilla? Yes, please! Fair warning though...if you try these, you'll never go back to regular Eggo waffles. These are a tad more expensive and there's only 6 instead of the usual 10, but it's so worth it.

My hubby went on a business trip recently and brought back some kolaches...

Oh, how this Czech girl loves kolaches! Apricot is my favorite. And yes, that's a princess plate left over from a party. ;)

And just because I felt like this post didn't have enough pics, here are a few more...

 Such a rough life.

Holly's serious look.

Hope y'all have a great day!

  1. I have yet to find gluten free Belgian waffles. Boo... Kolaches bring back memories of Texas. Had never heard of them before Katie went to BU. LOL And oh my, your kitties are too funny.

  3. Um, this post made me hungry! I do love waffles and I need to try those madagascar vanilla ones:) And I've never had a kolache (or even heard of it) but it does look yummy! Where do you buy them - any bakery?

    1. We have kolaches all around here. A lot of bakeries make them. They're so yummy! The bread is very sweet and the fruit topping with sugar crumbles is divine! It's a Czech dessert, so they're common around Texas. :)

  5. We haven't had frozen waffles in my house since the last child left, but I bet these would be great when I have a little buffet instead of a hot, cooked meal at the lake. Yum! I'll definitely look for them.

Never heard of Koloches, maybe its the spelling. My mom made a shortbread cookie with jam in the center on the top called something similar. Good memories for this girl.

I'm so sorry, I didn't know you found another kitty! I've been a terrible blogger since the start of the year. Time to get disciplined!!
