Greek Yogurt and Bunnies

I wanted to share my new favorite yogurt with y'all. It's Chobani Flip Greek Yogurt...

And no, I'm not getting paid for saying this, it's just a real favorite of ours. Oh, and I know the expiration date says January 26th, but don't worry, I took these pics awhile ago and am just now getting around to posting. Rest assured, this was consumed way before that date. ;)

So, have y'all tried this? Here's what's under the lid of the Almond Coco Loco one...

You flip the toppings onto the yogurt for a delicious breakfast or snack.

That's a lot of toppings!

The yogurt tastes like really thick, sweet whipped cream to me. (I've tried other Greek yogurts and they weren't nearly this good. They always tasted too "tangy" for me, but this one is just right) It also has 12 grams of protein, so it keeps you full for a long time.

It comes in lots of other flavors too...

Three of my favorites...Coffee Break Bliss, Peppermint Perfection, and Almond Coco Loco...

They have tons of other great flavors too. Here are a few more I pulled out of the fridge. Tropical Escape, Key Lime Crumble, and Peanut Butter Dream.

The Peanut Butter Dream has moved up to my favorite this week. This description says it all...

If you like peanut butter and chocolate, you'll love this!

Okay, now for the bunnies. My sister in law texted me to see if I wanted these bunnies...

She was cleaning out stuff and knew I'd always admired them in her home during Easter. I of course said yes, so they hauled them all the way from North Texas when they came for a visit.

When they arrived, my niece said "Aunt Lisa, why in the world did you want these things?" I asked her what was wrong with them and she said "Well, for one...their EYES. They're SO creepy!"

Take a look for yourselves...

Hmm...Then she said "And the FEET! They're the creepiest of all!"

Girl's got a point.

Apparently these two were the source of a few nightmares for my niece and nephews while growing up. Although Meredith's feet don't seem as bad as Finn's. (yes, I already named them Meredith and Finn and no, I've never seen Grey's Anatomy, although someone just told me there were two characters on there with these same names. Total coincidence, I guess)

So the jury is still out on these two. What do you think? Creepy or cute??? I think a little of both. They would be kind of cute holding decorative Easter eggs in their baskets this spring. Y'all should have seen Holly's first reaction to them...she approached them VERY slowly and sniffed them out before backing away.

After all that, I must leave you with a smile on your face. Have y'all seen the Dairy Pure Milk commercial starring these adorable cows with a Valley Girl accent?

My favorite part is when the one in the middle says "Like, moo" at the end of the commercial! So funny! I was having trouble getting the video to upload, but you can google "Dairy Pure Commercial YouTube" to see it.

  1. Cute! I buy Chobani yogurt at Costco but haven't ever seen those little combo packs. I bet my family would love them.

The bunnies are fun. I can just picture Holly creeping up on them. :)

  3. I will give the yogurt a try! I think the bunnies are cute and the eyes and feet are only creepy if you get real real right up close and nobody will probably do that! Lol

  5. Oh Lisa, I always love your posts!! I didn't notice the creepy factors on the bunnies until you pointed them out. I was laughing so hard! Bless your niece's heart! I still say they're cute though :)

I love those yogurts too but I haven't tried those flavors yet. They sound delish! My favorite thus far is the salted caramel one.

I looked up the commercial and laughed so hard because I was made fun of talking that way in high school. I had just moved from L.A. to a small agricultural town 5 hours north of L.A. and man was I the center of some nasty gossip. Small towns for ya I guess. I eventually grew out of the "valley talk" and made some wonderful friends who would back me up just in case anyone wanted to beat me up lol. All I knew for protection was... run fast! Haha! I always thought I'd end up back in L.A but nope, here I am married with children living in the homes they eventually built in the roads my friends and I used to hang out as teenagers- doing only nice things of course, like studying and bird watching ;)
Thanks for sharing the funny commercial! I can't believe all that came back to me from one commercial lol. Have a nice night!

  6. I have never tried that yogurt, I'm not really a fan of yogurt in general though. I might have to get a couple for my husband to try since he likes yogurt. I think the bunnies are cute....I didn't notice anything creepy about the eyes?!?! I would put chocolate eggs in the little baskets....

  7. My husband eats yogurt and granola most mornings. I'll have to try these flips. They look yummy. Your bunnies are cute. I think they would be cute at Easter. I wouldn't worry about the feet too much. You could even place them in a basket of faux grass and that would cover their feet if you prefer. Ha!!!

  9. Hi, Lisa. I have never tried this yogurt but it sure sounds good! I think the bunnies are pretty cute. Still laughing about your niece reaction. :) At first glance,I didn't noticed the eyes or feet. Like the other ladies said, fill up those baskets with chocolates and they will make a really cute Easter display. Maria

  10. Hi! I really enjoy your blog. I was thinking you could spray paint them both all white. Then you could tie a bow around their necks for some color. Just a thought. Thanks for sharing your new favorite yogurt, I'm going to give it a try.

  11. I'll have to look for this yogurt, although I doubt it's available in Canada! Funny thing is, one of the things we always buy when we go to the States is yogurt! We all have our favorites that we can only get in the US! Will put that on our list for next time :) By the way, I know what you mean about the bunnies but I have to say they're cute!!! I can't wait to see where you put them! xo
