I'm back today to share a few more changes. I added a little "Thanksgiving" to the kitchen with this little plate. I gotta say, it's a lot more fun to do dishes with seasonal decor and a cute soap dispenser. :)
I swapped out our wedding photo for this Happy Thanksgiving sign in the foyer.
Y'all probably remember this from years past. It's just a Thanksgiving greeting card framed with some Fall scrapbook paper behind it...
Love this paper! Just think of all the cute cards you see out there. So many would make a cute decoration simply by framing it in a dollar store frame. It would even make a cute hostess gift if you're travelling to visit family for the holidays.
I had to take a pic of this. The other day, we were getting ready to carve pumpkins while drinking pumpkin spice coffee and whipping up a batch of pumpkin bread. I guess we were really getting into the season!
As for the pumpkin bread...well, it was delicious!
I cleaned the house this morning, ran a load of wash, and ran some errands, so now it's time to relax. :) I just fixed my second cup of coffee and downloaded 8 new books to my Kindle, so I'll be curling up with a good book and my kitty by my side for the rest of the afternoon. Hope y'all have a great day!

Lisa, I loved your pictures. Oh pumpkin bread...it's the best. My daughters and I used to make it all the time. I miss baking with my girls. I agree, some times a nice pretty card is to sweet to throw away..so why not frame it.. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your pumpkiny afternoon. I love all your decorations. Your kitchen is absolutely inspiring for this time of year. :)
ReplyDeleteEverything looks fantastic!!! Love the pumpkin plate, and what a great idea to frame a Thanksgiving card.. smart...
ReplyDeletePumpkin bread, I can just smell that delicious smell..enjoy your books.
Everything looks so lovely, Lisa, and I can almost smell that pumpkin bread! I have a Starbuck's gift card and plan to try their Pumpkin Latte....no, I have never had one, can you believe that? It's cooling off here, but it really isn't cool enough to think about warm beverages in the afternoon, yet.....I'm hoping soon!
ReplyDeleteThe pumpkin bread sounds so good. Love all your changes. My family loves the Coffee-mate pumpkin spice flavor. Great post, Lisa! xxx Maria
ReplyDeletePumpkin bread is the best. Sounds so nice to curl up and read!!! Enjoy.

Things are looking good at your house! That is such a cute way to display that greeting card. I recently bought some large cinderella pumpkins and have one in my family room and kitchen so I have a bit more Fall around my house than I did. I just can't think about Fall here until it starts looking and feeling like it outside. Hard to believe that Thanksgiving is just next month!
ReplyDeleteEverything looks so nice! I love pumpkin bread and yes, I have that creamer too. :) I can't do the Starbuck's drink...wayyyy too sweet for me. I frame cards a lot ~ so many unique ones and easily changeable in frames.
ReplyDeleteHope you had a relaxing afternoon ~ sounds delightful!

Love your idea of using greeting cards with craft paper as art! So many possibilities with each holiday and season :) Now I have to make some pumpkin cake!!! I forgot how much Lily and I love it.
ReplyDeleteLisa- I love all your pumpkins and your post today. I love the smell of pumpkin anything this time of year and I have not had any yet this fall. We have been doing that Whole 30 so I like my pumpkin in a PIE and that is not on my food plan right now. lol xo Diana
ReplyDeleteps- Enjoy your reading!!!!
