Hello and Happy Valentine's Day!
Do y'all follow the lovely Kris at Junk Chic Cottage? She's hands down one of the sweetest bloggers out there and her home is absolutely beautiful. We're talking magazine worthy, y'all. :)
Kris does a thing called "Blogger Spotlight" where she features different bloggers and you get a chance to meet the "blogger behind the blog." Well, it just so happens that she was kind enough to feature me today on her Blogger Spotlight!
If you want to learn a little more about me, you can click HERE to read the full post.
And as a bonus, there's a never before seen wedding pic of me from 1990. Now you KNOW you don't want to miss that, right?! Lol!
We're still knee deep in our subway tile project and I can't wait to show y'all the finished product!
~Lisa
I have been following you on Instagram for awhile now, but had never visited your blog.
ReplyDeleteLoved reading your story and the Frank Lloyd Wright connection. The only connection I have is that my grandmother and Jesse James were cousins. I'm not sure that is one I want to boast about!
Great post on Kris's Spotlight. I am your newest floower.

Thank you Lisa for sharing on Spotlight. It was such an honor to feature you and your wonderful blog.
ReplyDeleteHappy Valentine's Day.
Kris :)
It was so nice to learning more about you. Your wedding picture is beautiful. I enjoy reading your blog so much. Thanks for sharing your great ideas and shopping finds. My family and I love your crockpot potato soup recipe and thumbprint cookie recipe. I hope you have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Kim! I'm so glad you like the potato soup recipe! You just reminded me it's been way too long since I've made the thumbprint cookies! I need to whip up a batch this week. Maybe that'll be the first thing I make in my "new" kitchen with subway tiles. :) Happy Valentine's Day!
DeleteIt was a very interesting post. In Arizona Frank Lloyd Wright's grandchildren sold a house he built for one of his kids. Last year, it seems enough residents signed a petition to stop its demolition. The developer sold it to someone else who plans to restore it and open it to the public. My yard at my last home was landscaped with my daughter as a project to get the wildlife certified sign.
ReplyDeleteKris and I are good friends outside of blogging. I love her and her blog. popping over now to read all about you! xo Diana
ReplyDeleteYour post was so much fun to read through!! And I love your wedding photo! You're gorgeous and your boys resemble you a lot, especially the oldest. It wad nice knowing you better friend :)
ReplyDeleteIt was so fun to read the blog post and to see all of the pics, Lisa :) Especially loved reading about your connection to Frank Lloyd Wright! My brother is an architect...and he did some MAJOR projects on FLW in college...and I remember them clearly, lol! Anyway - thanks for the share! XOXO - PollyAnna
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for stopping by, PollyAnna! I really appreciate it! How neat that your brother did all those projects on FLW! I bet they were interesting. And I love that he has the same occupation as Mr. Brady. ;) Happy Valentine's Day!!!
