Hello all! I'm here today to share my Thanksgiving tablescape with you. My mom gave me these pretty plates last year and I forgot to use them. So glad I remembered this year!
You can see last year's tablescape HERE (and pay no attention to the fact that I forgot to get out my salad forks and spoons for the photo session.) Lol! You can see the diy gold napkin rings I made in that link too. This year, I decided to use the burlap bags I got in the Michael's dollar section for the silverware.
I love these little burlap bags. So many uses. :)
Y'all might remember I used to have two hurricane candle holders on the buffet below. (you can see them HERE) I tied some pretty fall ribbon around the base of them. Apparently, Holly liked them so much that she would hop up there every night and bat around at the ribbon with her paw. She finally succeeded in knocking one of them over and it shattered all over the floor late one night. Fun times. So now I just have the twig pumpkins up there. :)
I don't know why, but I loved placing a mini pumpkin on each plate.
I may add a few things or switch them up before the big day, but I'm pretty happy with it. I'll also do a tablescape on the kitchen table, but it'll probably be very similar to this one.
Wishing you all a wonderful day!
~Lisa
How cute, Lisa. I love the dishes from your Mom. They are certainly perfect for Thanksgiving. Your whole table setting is just lovely. Hope you have a great afternoon. xo Diana
ReplyDeleteThat's a very pretty table setting. I like the little pumpkins on each plate. I also like the burlap bags used to hold the silverware. You could even monogram those bags with your last name initial and that would be pretty.
ReplyDeleteYou have a great eye for detail, Lisa! I think the pumpkins on the plates and the leaves in the hurricane are such a nice touch! The plates are very pretty...I wouldn't forget those!! :)
ReplyDeleteI love the burlap pouches. Since you don't have salad plates, never mind about a salad fork!! Beautiful!

Lisa,
ReplyDeleteLove this table setting and I too love the little touches like the pumpkin on the plate. Too sweet. Love the burlap bags for the silverware settings. Just lovely all of it.

Your tablescape is simple and very pretty, Lisa! I'm not crazy about the elaborate centerpieces you often see in dining rooms, unless you aren't going to actually eat there. Personally, I think they are very distracting for the food and conversation. Your plates are lovely and the addition of the little pumpkins is perfect!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful table Lisa. I love the burlap and think the pumpkins are the perfect touch of the season!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty.....love those little burlap utensil holders!!!! I used to have two very honery cats, they would wait until I went to bed at night and then chase each other around the house and break all kinds of things. I finally had to start putting them in the basement at night so I could get some sleep! LOL

You did a great job at coordinating everything so well! It looks lovely! I also like the small pumpkins on each plate 😊 I'm glad Holly didn't get hurt when the glass shattered! Bless her heart, I bet that startled her!
ReplyDeleteIt is a beautiful table, Lisa! The plates are sooo pretty! Love the runner! You guys are going to have a great celebration!
ReplyDeleteLove all Lisa! The time you put into everything is so great! The burlap bags are adorable and I have a runner but the bags tie the whole thing together... Happy Friday sweetie!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Kristy! I'm so glad I thought to pick up those bags when I saw them this summer. I just knew they'd have a ton of uses. :) Happy Friday to you too, friend!
