Kitchen Cabinet Sneak Peek

Well, after four days of painting and five more days of "curing", the kitchen cabinets are finished and hung back up. I'm SO happy with them!!! The cup pulls for the drawers are in, but we're still waiting on the cabinet knobs to get here, so I'll wait to do a full reveal until everything is installed. Here's a little sneak peek at the cabinets (without the hardware)...

Here's a pic I put on Instagram of the hardware I ordered.

antique pewter cup pulls

I knew I wanted something silvery, but not a lot of shine. I wanted a cross between silver and oil rubbed bronze. Kind of like a silver with black undertones. I think I found it in these antique pewter knobs and pulls. :)

In other good news...my new camera is FINALLY arriving today! Yippee! It took me SO long to decide what to get, but I finally made up my mind and ordered it. I think the cabinet knobs are supposed to come in around May 15th, so I'll probably wait until then to photograph the kitchen cabinets and get a post up. I made a few other small changes in the kitchen too and I'm excited to show y'all!

One more thing...so many of you have asked about my nephew Ben, and I'm happy to report that he seems to be feeling a little bit better. He's not in constant pain anymore. He still has "spikes" of pain, but they seem to go away after a while. Thank you again for all your prayers, comments, and emails! It means the world to us and I really appreciate it!

I love the cabinets, very pretty. And the pulls and knobs are gorgeous! I just noticed your back splash, too, I love it!

What kind of camera did you get? I spent a long time looking, too. And after 2 years I'm still learning how to use it! lol!
