2016 Fall Home Tour

I changed up a few things this year, but for the most part, it's still a neutral base with pops of orange here and there. Enjoy!

A couple of orange print pillow covers along with my cable knit sweater pillows add just the look I was going for.

Each year I bring out that candle holder with the fall leaves. Seems appropriate for the season. ;)

This is my Target dollar spot pumpkin pillow from last year in a crate from Michael's.

I went pretty simple with the mantel.

A wire pumpkin and "Count Your Blessings" sign was all this end table needed.

The foyer got its usual basket of pumpkins. Only this year, I added in a few orange ones.

Simple dining room table centerpiece. Glass hurricane with a white candle and fall leaves.

Probably one of my favorite pumpkin purchases ever. This trio  from Hob Lob a few years ago.

Always fun to decorate the kitchen hutch.

A cute fall printable and my new mug from Walmart. :)

I like how the mug is just orange and not ORANGE. That way, I can use it year round without it feeling too "fall-ish." And for $2.50, I couldn't pass it up.

Please note Holly pawing at a lizard on the outside of the window in the pic below...

Ah...so good to see my beloved velvet pumpkin again. :)

It had just stopped raining when I took these outdoor pics, so the lighting isn't great.

And that's it. If y'all have any questions on anything, feel free to comment below or send me an email. I'm always happy to answer any questions you have. :)

  1. Lisa, I really love the way you have decorated. The oranges are a bit soft...not so in your face orange.LOL. I think my favorite piece was the little print with the blue door. ...how very sweet. Even the outside looked good. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

  2. What a sweet tour, Lisa. I think you did just enough without it being over the top. Simple, serene and lovely. I hope to haul a few things out this weekend myself. I have been SO SLOW with fall this year. Hope you have a great weekend. xo Diana

  7. Your home is SO pretty and the perfect backdrop for my sweet fall touches. I love everything you did on your shelves and mantel. Question. The end table in your living room looks so much like the one I found at Pier 1 last year for my den. Is that where you got yours?

A great tour...you always have the perfect touches, Lisa!

  12. Such a sweet tour, Lisa. You seem to have mastered the art of adding in just enough girly-ness, in a home full of boys, to make it very cozy and inviting. I did spy a bowl full of "Holly-tempters" on your industrial bookcase.....maybe it's her backup toy after she tries for the outside lizards...lol! Your mantel is lovely, and I especially like the vase full of Fall leaves!

I don't know about you, but I'm kind of tired of this "weather seesaw" we are having. It was in the high 90's all weekend and will be most of this week, then a "cool down"....yep, I've heard that before!

    Happy Week!
    Hugs,
    Carol
